Almost Fall in the Catskills

Oh, there's nothing better than the cool crisp Fall air of the Catskills. 68 private acres and a house nested high on a hilltop with a beautiful mountain view in the distance. That's because you can arrive early Friday and stay till Sunday night. And if you feel like staying till Monday just add another 75 dollars.

We are located in Delaware County between Downsville and Andes New York. A ride less than three hours from NYC on a Friday night or Saturday morning, including a stop or two.

Now the house is set in a very private location, so don’t expect to see people walking by all day because that won’t happen. It’s a place to go to if you want to be alone with nature and just relax. Sit on the front porch and read, use one of the extra bedrooms upstairs to write or paint.

Think Winter at Catskill Escape

Well, I'm not going to lie to you the Fall season is awfully short up in the Catskills. Thats why I want you to start thinking Winter and snow. And let me tell you there's usually plenty of it by our house up North.

Now the great thing about our house is the hill right out front, you can go sledding, cross country skiing, and more right out our front door. So there's no need to drive anywhere although we're only 25 minutes from Belleayre Mountain and real skiing.

We also have 68 acres of private land if you feel like doing some Winter hiking or snow shoeing.

Or just think about our house as a place to get away for the weekend and the rushed pace of the City.

Oh, but don’t worry if you do have children there is a lot to do in the area. There’s Cooperstown about an hour away, Pine Hill Lake about twenty-five minutes away. Andes, Margaretville, Oneonta, Delhi, county fairs, town pools, fishing, bike riding, etc.
