We are located in Delaware County between Downsville and Andes New York. A ride less than three hours from NYC on a Friday night or Saturday morning, including a stop or two.
Now the house is set in a very private location, so don’t expect to see people walking by all day because that won’t happen. It’s a place to go to if you want to be alone with nature and just relax. Sit on the front porch and read, use one of the extra bedrooms upstairs to write or paint.
Oh, but don’t worry if you do have children there is a lot to do in the area. There’s Cooperstown about an hour away, Pine Hill Lake about twenty-five minutes away. Andes, Margaretville, Oneonta, Delhi, county fairs, town pools, fishing, bike riding, etc.
